Il World Press Photo è una specie di leggenda tra i fotogiornalisti, il corrispondente del Pulitzer per chi scrive e quest’anno l’immagine dell’anno è stata scattata dal britannico Tim Hetherington per Vanity Fair a Korengal Valley, in Afghanistan, lo scorso 16 settembre. This image shows the exhaustion of a man – and the exhaustion of a nation. We’re all connected to this. It’s a picture of a man at the end of a line […]. I use all my energy to have people notice bad things. There’s a human quality to this picture. It says that conflict is the basis of this man’s life.
