The Shakespeare Chronicles è una specie di noir scritto da Jamie Boyle, docente al Center for the Study of the Public Domain della Duke Law School ed esponente di Creative Commons. Lo storia è incentrata su un’indagine volta a scoprire chi è il vero “padre” delle opere del grande drammaturgo. Dice l’autore nella presentazione del libro:
